Custom Design's twin column designed RS302 makes them a good choice for larger standmounting speakers. The RS302s can be mass loaded with optional inert filler and you also have a choice between a standard top plate or Custom Design's unique 'Acoustic Steel' top plate; two pieces of steel bonded together to form a surface that kills disrupting vibrations.
To get the very best however, we strongly recommend using Custom Design's dense inert filler (3 bags per stand). This really brings out the best in speakers. The results when set-up correctly are simply stunning and will nearly always inject dull and lifeless-sounding loudspeakers with tightness, consistency and clarity you never thought possible.
The Custom Design RS302 come with two height options (510mm/20" or 610mm/24") and a choice of three beautiful base finishes; Polished steel black or mercury with clear glass for a small extra cost. The stands also come complete with spikes, 4mm welded inserts and M8 fixing bolts. For wooden floors we recommend using Custom Design's floor protectors to maintain perfect isolation yet not causing damage to your flooring.
