The X50D is a pure digital music server / network streamer, developed for audiophiles with high-end amplifiers and digital-to-analogue converters. It is equipped with 2 hard drive bays for up to 16TB of RAID storage, meaning most users will no longer need an external NAS. Several fitted and formatted SSD/HDD drive options are available.
Rip/burn CDs and record internet/FM/DAB+ radio or any digital audio signal you feed it from your mobile, TV, etc. in CD quality. With up to 8TB of internal storage (as well as support for external NAS or USB storage), you can keep all of your music files in one place. Several fitted and formatted SSD/HDD drive options are available.
Roon Ready, the X50D has integrated support for internet, FM and DAB+ radio and music streaming services such as TIDAL, Qobuz and Spotify. It offers wired and wireless networking, and supports various network protocols such as UPnP, Samba and FTP so it can stream music files stored externally on other compatible devices.
With supports for various hi-res audio formats - MQA, DSD(64/128), DXD(24Bit/352.8KHz), PCM signal up to 32Bit/385Khz including 24Bit/192KHz FLAC/WAV, and many more - the X35 can also edit audio files and convert them to different formats.
The X50’s 7 inch LCD screen helps make it easily to control directly or using the remote control. It can also be easily controlled using the dedicated iOS/Android app (named 'NOVATRON Music X') or PC WebInterface, and the music db can also be managed remotely.
