The compact Denon RCD-M39 is a micro hi-fi system with a focus on quality and versatility. Integrated into the amplifier is a CD player and radio tuner with capability to receive DAB, DAB+ and FM/AM. There's a USB port for connecting iPods or memory sticks with MP3 music up front and digital and analogue inputs on the rear for connecting other devices such as televisions.

With 30 watts of power per channel the RCD-M39 can easily drive a range of speakers with styllish compact products such as the DALI Zensor 1 and Q Acoustics 2010i being ideal matches. The Denon can certainly of inject some life into your music, providing a clear yet vivid sound.

Care has been taken to ensure that the RCD-M39 provides the very best audio it can. This is noticeable in features such as the digital transmission of audio tracks from iOS devices when connected via USB and high-precision 192kHz/24bit digital to analogue converters to maintain high fidelity sound.

Not only that but Denon have rearranged the internal structure to improve upon the previous RCD-M38 model. Digital and analogue circuits have been separated to minimise interference and even the CD drive has been optimised to remove unwatned vibrations and improve CD playback performance.

If you listen to radio and CDs regularly but want something which can cope with your digital music collection too then the RCD-M39 is ideal. MP3 & WMA files can be played back from CD or the USB port, if you connect an iOS device then music playback can be controlled using the Denon's remote control and your iPhone/iPod is even charged whilst it's connected - even when the Denon is in standby mode.

The RCD-M39 fit's pretty much everything you'll need into a small package but the inclusion of an optical input as well as analogue RCA inputs on the rear of the unit means you can connect up other devices too. This is perfect for connecting slim TVs which often suffer from very poor speakers. On top of all this there is a headphone jack if you want to enjoy your music without disturbing anyone.
