Hear it like it was meant to be heard with the RX-A3010 AV receiver from Yamaha. The RX-A3010 provides delightful music reproduction as well as powerful movie performance. Nine surround channels create a totally immersive audio environment whilst Yamaha's YPAO-RSC technology ensures the system sounds its best in any room. Control over the impressive array of inputs can be handled by iPhone, iPad, Android, web interface or the easy to use supplied remote.

RX-A3010 iPod Control

Video processing is covered by the HQV VHD1900 "Vida" chipset, upscaling SD video and even improving the detail in an HD picture. Compressed video is improved by reducing artifacts of block and mosquito noise so streaming TV, films and DVDs look much cleaner than with other systems.

YPAO-R.S.C. (Reflected Sound Control) analyses room acoustics and automatically calibrates audio settings to. The system can cover several listening positions so whether you're focusing on a single seat or a whole home theatre you can achieve optimum sound in a simple, straightforward manner.

The RX-3010 features what Yamaha have called the Anti Resonance Technology (A.R.T.) Wedge. This is a fifth foot in the centre of the unit. It dampens vibrations from the power transformer, power transistors and heat sinks, as well as vibrations that might be caused by the sound from the speakers.

Network functionality means you can stream music from your local network or use Internet streaming for Napster or Internet radio. Connecting your receiver to your network also enables the web browser interface control or iPhone / Android app to be used.

Adaptive DRC on this receiver automatically adjusts the dynamic range of the sound according to the volume level. This ensures that you hear clear dialogue and vocals, and all sound effects at comfortable levels. There is no need to adjust the volume level as you listen; everything from whispers to big explosions will be heard clearly and comfortably at the same volume setting. It also tones down loud TV commercials, and is ideal for low-volume, late-night listening, when you do not want to disturb others.
