Being an officially certified High Speed HDMI cable the XHT228 is able to handle all the features of the current HDMI version 1.4 specification including:

Features

The XHT228 differs from many other cable designs utilising pure crystal oxygen free copper (PC-OFC) conductors instead of the usual oxygen free copper found in most cables. Using these high grade conductors ensures perfect transfer of audio and video signals which is critical to system performance.

  • Proprietary Nitrogen Gas-Injected Polyethylene Dielectric significantly reduces the dielectric constant to maintain the precise impedance to transfer HDMI HD 3D Category 2 flawlessly
  • Patented 4-layer PCB minimises FEXT (Far End Cross Talk) at the plug by increasing the distance between solder points therefore stabilising impedance
