Monitor Audio Gold Signature CP in-ceiling speakers are designed for ultra-discreet custom installations which remove the need for floor or stand mount speakers altogether. If you place a high value on space, style and décor but would rather not compromise sound quality, the GS CP speakers offer the same driver technologies as the Gold Signature range in a back-box design, which flush mounts in the ceiling for a seamless blend with decor. Unlike many in-ceiling speakers, they provide a dedicated enclosure for the drivers, allowing a superior full-range performance, which is closer to that of their conventional Gold Signature counterparts.
Monitor Audio's flagship Gold CP In-Ceiling loudspeakers incorporate proprietary technologies and materials found in our award-winning Gold in-room loudspeakers. Gold CP models feature 6 ½-inch C-CAM® bass drivers with RST® cone profiles, cast-aluminum bass driver chassis, and 1-inch C-CAM® gold dome tweeters. The ‘dimpled’ RST® cones provide faster response than conventional cones for increased bass and mid-range detail. The rigid cast-aluminum driver chassis is completely inert limiting distortion caused by mechanical interactions with the driver’s RST® cone. Optimum imaging and set-up is established via a pivoting tweeter, plus high-frequency and midrange-frequency (+3dB / 0dB / -3dB) response controls. The Gold CP loudspeakers provide extended high-frequency response to 30kHz, rich midrange detail, and higher output and power handling capacity than the Silver CP models.

Controlled Performance Back Boxes
All Monitor Audio CP In-Ceiling and In-Wall loudspeakers feature integral Controlled Performance back boxes. These rigid, mineral-filled enclosures provide an ideal air load for the speaker optimizing midrange and bass performance while maintaining sonic consistency regardless of interior wall construction. The back box also contains the bass driver’s back-wave limiting sound transmission to adjacent rooms.
Adjustable Response Controls
Optimum imaging and set-up is established via pivoting tweeter, high-frequency level (+3dB / 0dB / -3dB) controls, and midrange-frequency (+3dB / 0dB / -3dB) controls (depending on model).
Easy Handling During Installation
The integral back box prevents the ingress of loose building materials and dust into the drivers and crossover. The back box also makes handling easy and protects the crossover components from damage
during installation.
Painting
A paint mask and additional grille scrim are provided for colour matching to any décor.
