Using a super high purity 24AWG copper conductor and coating it with silver is a great starting point. Couple with this a very accurate soldering process and a twin screened conductor based around a flat geometry cable and you have something very special indeed.

Capable of the very highest speeds of data transfer whilst maintaining 1080p right upto 10m the Silver Star is the perfect choice for connecting high end AV sources such as Blu Ray to the very best Plasma and LCD tv's.

Why Silver plate the copper?

The conductor carries delicate audio or video signals and is therefore a critical factor in good performance. Silver has a lower resistance than copper. So plating or coating copper conductors with silver reduces the overall resistance to signal flow and also prevents the copper from oxidising. This allows the conductor to perform better for longer distances. Silver plating will improve both audio and video performance, improving clarity and detail in audio applications and delivering higher resolution in video applications.
